We have won!!!
The High Court has declared unconstitutional the Petition I filed challenging sections of the Computer Misuse & Cybercrimes (Amendment) Act, 2025!
Sec. 6 (1) (J) (a) has been declared unconstitutional!! The state can’t stifle Kenyans rights and freedoms to free speech!
A huge thank you to my advocates; George Sakimpa & Andrew Muge!
Today, we commemorate the courage, resilience, and determination of Gen Z—a generation that has boldly raised its voice for justice, accountability, equality, and a better future. Your passion for change has inspired conversations that transcend borders and challenged societies to reimagine governance, leadership, and civic participation.
As we honour this day, we remember those who have sacrificed, stood firm in the face of adversity, and refused to remain silent in the pursuit of dignity and human rights.
May this commemoration remind us that meaningful change is driven by active citizenship, solidarity, and the unwavering belief that every voice matters.
To Gen Z: continue to dream boldly, engage responsibly, and lead with integrity and compassion. Your generation is not only shaping the present but also laying the foundation for a more just, inclusive, and peaceful future.
The cost of fuel has gone up, so has the cost of electricity, basic commodities and rent.
Basic education has funding deficits, the higher education model has collapsed, with students not allowed to sit for end of semester examinations.
The healthcare system; well, is clutching on a straw. From the available KBNS data, the economy is on a downward spiral.
The salaries for hardworking Kenyans have not been revised upwards, but new taxes have been introduced. The cost of renting a house in major urban cities has only hit the roof. The weight of these burden is felt across many households; affecting the quality of life and personal well-being.
While some of these issues are not the direct doing of this government, unfortunately, most of the things they have done have only escalated an already dire situation for the worse.
Collectively as Kenyans, we must think through our political leaders as they have an impact on our day to day lives. From the lowest cadre to the highest.
Unfortunately, we make democratic processes a financial transaction, and as long as we do, when we do, we sign our prosperity obituary.
There are some two young ladies, 21 & 24, that I ran into at Kahawa law courts last week.
They had been admitted to a cash bail of Kshs.200,000 and their guardians have been unable to raise the same.
We are currently in court hearing an application to review their cash bail.
They’re held at Langata Women’s Prison. I visited them on Monday and catered for some basic items for them.

Hundreds of young people are in cells across the 27 counties where demos took place.
I’m calling on all young lawyers to offer pro-Bono legal services to secure their release today and provide legal representation for the long haul.
We must do our civic duty in this war against impunity.
Kenya has deployed police officers under the MSS mission to Haiti to help combat gangs.
Meanwhile, back home, the NPS is working with hired political goons to infiltrate genuine protests, maim and destroy Kenyans hard earned property.
Committing economic and human rights crimes.
What an absurdity!
I’m deeply humbled to receive an award from the UK for my contribution to youth & women leadership in Kenya.
I’d like to thank the entire MK community for their kindness, MP, Emily Darlington, Mayor Cllr. Marie, Deputy Mayor, Cllr. James, Cllr. Tony, Cllr. Uroy, Cllr Mohammed, High Sheriff Kurshida and my wonderful hosts in Central London.

We have confirmation that two comrades have been dumped at unknown locations after their abductions.
Joshua Okayo @okayojoshua was dumped somewhere in Murang’a after being abducted in Rongai on Wednesday.
Regis Wanjala who was abducted on the same day was also found dumped in a tea plantation in Ruiru.
The two are safe but currently receiving medical attention and are still shaken up from the ordeal. We shall find recourse for these unfortunate actions of police.
Justice be our shield and defender.
I have spoken to Father Kamau William of Kaharati Catholic Church who has invited DP Rigathi Gachagua for a fundraiser on Sunday. He tried to explain to me that people like Gachagua have business interests etc where they get money to donate to the church.
