I told my class that if they could all help each other learn how to count to 100 by the end of the year, they could pie me and my assistant in the face. I am so proud of them all!
We created a defining map today of questions we had. We were able to answer most of them by sharing our own knowledge. This particular question however, was answered with “that’s their job”. 🤪
I conquered my fear and ate Vietnamese food for lunch today! I have never had a spring roll or Pho before and I have to say it ranks up there with popcorn! It’s the little things that just make my day.
The K team wants to celebrate the upcoming 90th day of school by having a "Guess the Baby" slideshow for the kids and a 90's dance party. I love to dance but I am pretty sure I will standout on the slideshow considering I was in my 20's! It's gonna be Da bomb!
Watching my son’s cat, Lilly so he can focus on passing his finals. She loves feeding the squirrels every morning. Never thought I would be a cat mom. The things we do for our children.
Thank you Goodwill for helping me out with all the dress up days this week. Tacky Day and Animal Day wouldn’t have been the same. I’m so lucky to have such a fun job.
I love it when my kiddos get to use their imaginations and build something. Making a new toy out of recyclables is always one of my favorite lessons. #joyfulFriday
Thanking everyone who has helped me become the educator that I am today. I value all the input and ideas you have given me so that my students will be successful in their learning. I’m just so honored to be on this list.

A great weekend with good friends who humored me with my crazy plans. Oktoberfest fun, a treehouse, and a paranormal investigation where we got to hold the EMF readers!! Many laughs and great memories I will cherish.
Thank you @mr_Alsheimer for the fun cup activity. My K students learned about having a growth mindset today and this was a great activity to accompany the lesson.
