@MONKP1776 @OJoelsen “Most” doing a lot of heavy lifting there, bucko. I’ve only ever seen it in places like India where not to do so would exclude locals as tourists are vastly better off, and that’s fine.

For a place like the US it’s just another reason not to go.

@freemarketflesh @OJoelsen Erm, like India where the tourist is vastly more wealthy than the local, and to do otherwise would price out the locals. If you’re claiming to be a desirable destination and a world economic superpower this is antithetical.

I see @Victorinox is thinking of knifeless range. I want to see one for electronics hobbyist. Pliers, wiresnips, wire strip, small screwdriver for preset pots, ideally tweezers. …. And other useful things (maybe a bigger screwdriver/bottle opener)
