An outrageous and spectacular four months of rugby from Connacht. They deserve their spot as a result. Rugby fans out west are full of pride and optimism right now. Roll on next Friday.

Landmark day for west of Ireland rugby, first @connachtrugby young guns stun the Stormers in Cape Town, now a record breaking crowd watching @IrishRugby women in 6 nations action.
My terminally wife was late for a radiation treatment because of the blockade. How could you sympathise with any group capable of endangering life. There are no words words to describe such behaviour. Trust me , given my anger, it is better that I don’t try #fuelprotest

Despite there being no threat of any kind, the US submarine sailed away with no attempt to pick up survivors, leaving them to drown.
Breaking the first and holiest unwritten law amongst mariners.
@lukefitz11 Great spot, I was blown away by that. We were down to 14 men at that point too! Phenomenal cover, the overlap was worked and 99/100 that’s a try.
@DjmComments @simonrug@IrishRugby@connachtrugby He was brilliant m. He’s developed so well over the last 12 months. The experience of last year’s difficult campaign has probably helped him immensely.
Electric performance from Irish under 20s against England this evening. Best game I’ve seen this year. Andrew Browne can be immensely proud of his side. Another west of Ireland coach thriving. @IrishRugby@connachtrugby
@simonrug@IrishRugby@connachtrugby He was, third game on the bounce where he excelled, a superb debut against France also in round one but this was every bit as good.
@ICdrew It’s a soft call but technically right. You can surely understand the emotions of that and the argument for embellishment is hardly unfounded either. Bottom line what sport in the world has referees from one of the competing nations deciding these things. 🤦♂️
@mikemcintyrewpg Fully agree. Real lack of class from Marchand after that penalty, on world feed, could clearly be heard shouting at Haula, “I’ll end your career” not sure why Canada are going down this route.
NEW @GAAOverTheBar PODCAST ALERT📢📢📢! The incredible story of the @monaghangaa footballers arrested en route to @UlsterGAA SFC final. Plus a members' episode on how the Chicago @whitesox ended up playing baseball in @CrokePark. Listen and subscribe: https://t.co/lKHThjFDDQ
@lonesharkoy Again I take you back to COVID where it worked and it was done. Bottom line is more games on tv means the sport is more accessible. The notion that it affects attendances is far from clear.
@lonesharkoy We’re talking a paid service here, which happens at club level around the country on a far greater scale and to the economic benefit of the county boards who broadcast them so I disagree here.
