I was feeling kind of blah about the holidays this year, but then I made myself an ornament of all the books I read in 2021. Nothing like a bookish craft to get you in the spirit!
Little known fact. If you live in GA you can go to the library and check out a video about the Atlanta Zoo. It’s 22 min long. Once you watch it you get four free adult passes to the zoo. Tickets usually cost $30 per adult. You can do this once a year every year.

This is a holiday PSA from your friendly neighborhood single- "You're always welcome at our house" a week before the Big Day is a very different feeling than "Will you please join us? We would love to have you." Bonus points if it's at least a month in advance.
@danielrgriswold Sure. I don’t think anyone said you can’t be passionate about young people if you’re an elder. I very much think elders should and do care about that!
But there continues to be a very needed role for deacons, as the bridge between the church and the world…at least in the UMC.
