What gets me through a cardio session when I don’t feel like it:
Less overthinking 🧠⬇️
A mental reset 🔄
Momentum for the rest of the day ⚡️
That feeling of accomplishment ✅
Sometimes it’s just going through the motions and trusting the plan I already made.
You think workouts change your body…
They do..and that part is great 💪
But what they really change is your mindset 🧠
You become the person who:
✔️ Gets up even when tired
✔️ Handles hard days better
✔️ Speaks to yourself with confidence
✔️ Doesn’t get overwhelmed as easily
Is it just me, or is there a sudden surge of women rocking weighted vests?
Not knocking it. Im just curious which influencer started this trend.
Moms are showing up everywhere strapped in like they’re preparing for a suburban zombie apocalypse.
6. Miss a workout or a meal? Don’t stress. Just make the next one a priority. Stay flexible, but stay consistent with your fitness and nutrition. At the end of the day, it’s all on YOU! 👊
1. The holidays are about enjoyment, but don’t let all the festivities throw off your health goals. It’s about balance—stay flexible but stay committed! 🎯
4. Don’t deprive yourself of foods you enjoy. I don’t eat big subs as much as I use to but I still enjoy them. I’m more mindful of portions and frequency. You could call it a cheat day, cheat meal or whatever. My favorite indulgence now is the kitchen sink cookie from Panera 😋
Just a reminder
You don’t NEED a massive meal after a hard workout.
I use to fall for this. I would train hard then go order a big sub with all the fixen’s as if I earned it and my body needed it.
Then I would wonder “why can’t I drop body fat?”
Couple ways around this👉
3. Consider some carbs during the workout. The sugar in Gatorade might help with performance and may keep you satiated post workout so you can just focus on protein intake and not overeat.
For people that HATE steady state cardio
-Mix it up. Try 10 mins on 3 different cardio machines
-listen to a podcast for the first half and pump up music for the 2nd
-Netflix
-go through the motions and think about how you will feel once you stick it out
We often hear finical advice like-
“If you put X amount away per month until you’re 65 you ll retire with millions”
We can apply a similar concept to fitness
