@TLC_Limerick busy day today in Murroe. Denis Holmes, chairperson of the Murroe Community Council was out all morning picking up #TLC9 bags from all over the parish. Also I pictured is Mairead Dillion, team leader of the Garanbawn estate cleanup.
Great review @guardian of Lies We Tell: review of film adaptation of Sheridan Le Fanu’s Uncle Silas - 'The 19th-century source material... isn’t super well-known outside university literature departments', except of course in @murroeweb😉

Despite a quiet 2023, the Le Fanu Festival has not gone away. It will be back in full swing in 2024, with plans to explore lots more of the lives of the Limerick Le Fanu, with a special focus on the women of the family next time. Keep an eye out!
@maireadflanagan@stephenkinsella Yep! They and a third Murroe-Boher venture scout are part of the 108-strong Irish contingent taking part in the WSJ. Lucky ducks :)

It’s hard to emphasis how much work has gone on behind the scenes, both within our community & through our partner organisations to get to this point. Thanks to everyone who helped put a shoulder to the wheel. We’ll write about this in more detail in time.
We are very excited to announce that Minister @HHumphreysFG has approved a further €848,362.68 under the @DeptRCD #RRDF to complete the @MurroeWoodPark Community Hub.

It’s been quite a while since we’ve posted about the @MurroeWoodPark Community Hub. We’re hoping construction will finally finish over the summer. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak of what’s been done so far. This is going to be such an amazing facility for our community ❤️ .
