@j_bambrick I seem to remember Jesus saying, "If you want to be great in God's kingdom, be the servant of all." That's what the Super Bowl ad was trying to portray. Martyrs are also great.
In a church I love and of which I was a member for nearly 20 years, I noticed this also. The choir loves praise music and they get their way. But over the years I noticed that about 10% of the congregation sings with them; whereas when they throw everyone a bone and sing a hymn, that rises to about 90%.
I'm not exaggerating.
And yet nothing changes. The leaders, after all, know best. And since most of the time on most issues they actually do, no one rocks the boat.
It seems like a pretty big blindspot to me. But alas.
Something just occurred to me. The 22nd Amendment to the constitution says: No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice. Trump claims he was elected twice: in 2016 and 2020. That makes him ineligible to run again.
