@MathigonOrg Is there a way to snap all rotations in a Polypad to multiples of 90 degrees and snap all shapes exactly to the grid? I am designing a puzzle and want to make it easier for students to move pieces by limiting where they can be placed.
@cs_kaplan Thanks so much for taking the time to help us out. This tile helped my students understand that math isn’t finished. Congratulations and thanks again!
@cs_kaplan My 8th grade math class has been making a mosaic of t-shirts out of the hat tile! If we want to extend beyond the limits of the supertile I've been using as a guide, is there a systematic way to determine how we can add to our cluster without breaking the tiling?
@cs_kaplan This is exactly what I was looking for! I’m excited to work with my kids to define our boundary and plan expansions once we reach the end of the map I’ve been working from.
Tonight’s the night! We’re kicking off our month-long 35th anniversary celebration with an evening with Kansas City essayist and humorist @miamarket, who will be reading from her latest book, “She’s Nice Though!”

"Desirability is a conundrum," writes @miamarket. "Sometimes, all I want is for every person who has ever lived to tell me I am gorgeous. Other times, I feel like if I am in any way observed, I will commit arson" https://t.co/0NW0E33u8E
@BoxFullOfBolts This is a reply to your retweet explaining that I know Lucy and have hung out with her. It is important to me that you know this. I feel that it both makes me seem cool and makes the world seem very small. Thank you.
