Did you know that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) mentioned the exact number of joints in the human body over 1,400 years before X-rays, microscopes, or modern anatomy?

For centuries, anatomists debated the exact number of joints in the human body. It was only through modern anatomical studies that science confirmed a remarkable fact: the adult human body has 360 joints.

Yet, our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) said:

«“Every one of the children of Adam has been created with three hundred and sixty joints...”
(Sahih Muslim 1007)»

Allah (SWT) has blessed us with 360 joints that allow us to move, bend, work, and pray. In gratitude for this incredible blessing, the Prophet (ﷺ) taught us that each joint deserves a daily act of charity.

How can we give 360 charities every day?

Islam makes it beautifully simple:
• Say SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illAllah, Allahu Akbar, and Astaghfirullah.
• Enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil.
• Help others—even removing a harmful object from the road is an act of charity.

And if you want to fulfill the charity for all 360 joints in just a few minutes, the Prophet (ﷺ) gave us an easy solution:

«“Two Rak'ahs offered in the morning (Salat al-Duha) will suffice for all of that.”
(Sahih Muslim 720)»

SubhanAllah! What a beautiful religion that teaches us gratitude for every blessing Allah has given us.

May Allah make us among those who remember Him often and act upon the Sunnah.
