The medal has the Toro Kingdom Palace inscribed in the design and this speaks to our connection with Toro Kingdom that hosts the marathon and as you get into the City you set your eyes to the Toro Kingdom Palace.
We have the Mustard Yellow shirt symbolizing the warm reception at the marathon, from the people of Toro and the creativity in everything that we do as FPCM. ( For the 10km & 5km Races)
The Royal Blue Shirt symbolizing the royalty and prestige that is embodied in the FPCM spirit. ( For the 42km and 21km Races)

Bujagali Energy Limited (BEL) was honored to host a benchmarking visit from the @UegclOfficial team as part of a knowledge-sharing and management improvement initiative. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two organizations and provide an opportunity for the UEGCL team to learn from Bujagali’s operational and management best practices.
During the session, BEL’s management team shared insights on effective leadership structures, operational efficiency, maintenance planning, safety management systems and performance monitoring frameworks that have contributed to the company’s consistent success in power generation. The discussions also highlighted BEL’s approach to stakeholder engagement, corporate governance and sustainability practices that ensure reliable electricity supply while maintaining environmental and social responsibility.
The UEGCL delegation appreciated the openness and professionalism exhibited by the BEL team commending the company for its high standards of management, safety culture and operational excellence. Both teams agreed on the importance of continuous learning and collaboration across Uganda’s energy sector to enhance performance and ensure efficient power generation across all plants.
