The shocking murder of toddler Arshid has deeply pained and disturbed me, just as it has millions of Malayalees.
Protecting children is not just a duty, but a sacred responsibility of every adult.
Whether it was working with citizens to strengthen the POCSO framework as an MP, or building strong safeguards to protect children online as a Minister, defending our children has always been a core priority for me.
Through my #ProtectOurChildren campaign, I pushed for a shift in India’s response to child abuse - from reactive outrage after a tragedy to focus on building strong preventive safeguards.
Keralam too must move beyond reacting only after each incident and build stronger institutional systems to prevent abuse and violence against children and protect every child.
We must enforce an absolute zero-tolerance approach toward crimes against children.
There is no worse form of cruelty than harming a defenceless child. We must work together to make every home, school, street, and public space safer for our children.
Our children are the future of #VikasitaKeralam and #ViksitBharat.
We must protect them.
@ShashiTharoor 10 years as an MP for Trivandrum... You didn‘t move a finger to clean us the city. Just posting for hype doesn’t help ! Will you be able to publish the usage of your MP funds to the common public, or whether raised this issue in the parliament platform ?

VIDEO | IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti will be conferred the Padma Shri award.
He says, "The Padma Shri award means only thing to me, that I will put all the best efforts towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047, this award is not possible as an individual, it's a collective effort, I dedicate this award to all who contributed... It is because of them I am getting this award."
#Padmashri2026
Professor Kamakoti works in deep tech: micro-processor design. He is the Director of IIT-Madras, the best technological institution in India. He serves in the NSAB.
He richly deserves the honour.
I have defended him on scientific grounds and I will do so again: cow dung and cow urine have excellent microbiome that could be valuable for humans.
It is the slavish colonial mindset that thinks these are not scientific propositions worthy of investigation. Some day, when Harvard or MIT publish a study on this, these enslaved minds would worship that as the gospel truth.

No of religious places bulldozed in TN by the DMK govt
Temples – 161
Churches – Unknown
Masjids – Unknown
So there are no churches or masjids built illegally? No. It's just that the DMK is against Hindus
Last quarter I rolled out Microsoft Copilot to 4,000 employees.
$30 per seat per month.
$1.4 million annually.
I called it "digital transformation."
The board loved that phrase.
They approved it in eleven minutes.
No one asked what it would actually do.
Including me.
I told everyone it would "10x productivity."
That's not a real number.
But it sounds like one.
HR asked how we'd measure the 10x.
I said we'd "leverage analytics dashboards."
They stopped asking.
Three months later I checked the usage reports.
47 people had opened it.
12 had used it more than once.
One of them was me.
I used it to summarize an email I could have read in 30 seconds.
It took 45 seconds.
Plus the time it took to fix the hallucinations.
But I called it a "pilot success."
Success means the pilot didn't visibly fail.
The CFO asked about ROI.
I showed him a graph.
The graph went up and to the right.
It measured "AI enablement."
I made that metric up.
He nodded approvingly.
We're "AI-enabled" now.
I don't know what that means.
But it's in our investor deck.
A senior developer asked why we didn't use Claude or ChatGPT.
I said we needed "enterprise-grade security."
He asked what that meant.
I said "compliance."
He asked which compliance.
I said "all of them."
He looked skeptical.
I scheduled him for a "career development conversation."
He stopped asking questions.
Microsoft sent a case study team.
They wanted to feature us as a success story.
I told them we "saved 40,000 hours."
I calculated that number by multiplying employees by a number I made up.
They didn't verify it.
They never do.
Now we're on Microsoft's website.
"Global enterprise achieves 40,000 hours of productivity gains with Copilot."
The CEO shared it on LinkedIn.
He got 3,000 likes.
He's never used Copilot.
None of the executives have.
We have an exemption.
"Strategic focus requires minimal digital distraction."
I wrote that policy.
The licenses renew next month.
I'm requesting an expansion.
5,000 more seats.
We haven't used the first 4,000.
But this time we'll "drive adoption."
Adoption means mandatory training.
Training means a 45-minute webinar no one watches.
But completion will be tracked.
Completion is a metric.
Metrics go in dashboards.
Dashboards go in board presentations.
Board presentations get me promoted.
I'll be SVP by Q3.
I still don't know what Copilot does.
But I know what it's for.
It's for showing we're "investing in AI."
Investment means spending.
Spending means commitment.
Commitment means we're serious about the future.
The future is whatever I say it is.
As long as the graph goes up and to the right.
Lo and behold @narendramodi’s name now appears in the emails of convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Response from @PMOIndia awaited. https://t.co/FzXCeNgigp
Arnav Khaire a 19 year old Kalyan student was allegedly beaten up by a mob in a local train in Maharashtra for speaking in Hindi. Humiliated, he committed suicide! Why should a case not be filed on the MNS & their leaders? Imagine what the family must be going through! Om Shanti
This man is an unstoppable force of nature.
What I’ve admired about him for decades is not just his obsession for development but his desire to always be innovative in his policies.
He raises the bar for himself and for everyone around him.

46 road sweeping machines which can be bought for around 13-20 Crores has been rented for 613 crores by the Karnataka govt. 3000 times Commission goes to their pockets. And am sure the roads will still stay littered.
Fully equipped heavy-duty truck-mounted road sweepers in India cost ₹30-50 lakhs each, based on listings from manufacturers like those on IndiaMart and Roots Multiclean (e.g., models with 6m³ hoppers, auxiliary engines, and vacuum systems). Purchasing 46 would total ₹13.8-23 Cr, versus ₹613 Cr for 7-year rental—saving over ₹590 Cr, which could fund maintenance via FD interest (at 7% yielding ~₹41 Cr annually). Buying enables indefinite use post-payoff, avoiding recurring taxpayer outflows; rental inflates costs unnecessarily for depreciating assets. GBAChiefComm DKShivakumar
Elon Musk: Everything is solar power. The rest is noise.
“The sun is about 99.8% of the mass of the solar system. Jupiter's about 0.1% and everything else is in the remaining 0.1%, and we are much less than 0.1%.
So, if you burnt all of the mass of the solar system, then the total energy produced by the sun would still round up to 100%. If you just burnt Earth, the whole planet, and burnt Jupiter, which is very big and quite challenging to burn, turn Jupiter into a thermonuclear reactor, the sun is 99.8% of the mass of the solar system and everything else is in the miscellaneous category. Basically, no matter what you do, total energy produced in our solar system rounds up to 100% from the sun. You could even throw another Jupiter in, so we're going to snag a Jupiter from somewhere else, you could teleport two more Jupiters into our solar system, burn them, and the sun would still round up to 100%. As long as you're at 99.6%, you're still rounding up to 100%. Maybe that gives some perspective of why solar is really the thing that matters.
And, as soon as you start thinking about things at a grander scale, like Kardashev Scale 2 civilizations, it becomes very, very obvious. I'm not saying anything that's new, by the way. Anyone who studies physics has known this for a very long time. In fact, Kardashev, a Russian physicist who came up with this idea, I think, in the 1960s, just as a way to classify civilizations, where Kardashev Scale 1 would be, you've harnessed most of the energy of the planet, Kardashev Scale 2, you've harnessed most of the energy of your sun, Kardashev 3, you've harnessed most of the energy of a galaxy.
Now we're only about 1% or a few percent of Kardashev Scale 1 right now, optimistically. But as soon as you go to Kardashev Scale 2, where you're talking about the power of the sun, then you're really just saying everything is solar power and the rest is in the noise. Like, the sun produces about a billion times, or call it well over a billion times more energy than everything on Earth combined.”

@RajeevRC_X@narendramodi@AshwiniVaishnaw Why not extend this one to Trivandrum. Will immensely benefit people from Ernakulam and below to Trivandrum.!Currently the private bus mafia looting public and causing accidents anr deaths.
Earlier this year, I made a promise to myself to continue pushing my fitness goals, nurture resilience, and adopt an athlete's mindset as I prepared for the Ironman 70.3 in Goa. I believed that with discipline and consistency, even the seemingly impossible could be conquered.
Today, after swimming 1.9 km in the open sea, cycling 90 km across the hilly terrains of Goa, and running 21 km to the finish line, I humbly submit that this challenge tested not just my endurance, but the strength of my mind.
For those wanting to step up, the challenge is real, but the reward lies in the transformation within. Would like to take this moment to thank our beloved PM Thiru @narendramodi avl for inspiring millions through the Fit India Movement.
Would also like to take this opportunity to thank my dear brother Thiru @Tejasvi_Surya avl for his guidance & support in the preparation, and heartfelt congratulations to him for completing the Ironman challenge yet again. (1/4)
