@GaneshPuttu@KartikDayanand@AmoresVeritas I live in Chennai. I never come across any such threat of owning a luxury car and subjected to threat from ANY parties as yet.
False narrative?
🚨Greater Bengaluru Authority officially rolled out its city-wide 'Safe Footpath Campaign.
It aims to clear and restore 2,000 Km of footpath for pedestrians
At the @IndianExpress Adda, I spoke about how politics can be unforgiving. We competed fiercely with the previous DMK government in Tamil Nadu for investments - won some, lost some.
But I never heard an investor complain of being asked for money by the government. Credit where it's due: the DMK government ran a clean and professional investment process and that deserves appreciation.
A marquee real estate deal unfolded in Chennai’s ultra-exclusive Boat Club, where land is scarce and every address carries a premium. The transaction involved the sale of a 7.65-ground prime residential property, ‘Anita’s Apartment’, owned by the Brij Mohan Reddy family, to Girish Mathrubootham, Founder and Executive Chairman of Freshworks, who acquired it for his personal residence.According to market sources, the deal value is ₹211 crore. It is learnt that Global Adjustments (GA), a luxury real estate advisory firm, facilitated this deal.

Spent a day in Chennai and took 5 autos. During my drive casually asked the drivers how they feel about the new TVK government and how the road experience compares to the previous administration.
Out of the 5, 4 drivers gave remarkably consistent feedback:
They feel they are finally being treated with dignity and respect by the authorities.
During regular checks, If your papers are valid, they let you go immediately. If not, you are asked to go to the police station. The days of easily paying your way out on the spot are gone. People are afraid that the could be feautured on a reel.
There seem to be no arbitrary money collection targets now, so they are not being pestered for bribes.
Fitness Certificate (FC) costs have dropped from 8K to 2.5K, saving them a significant amount every year.
The general consensus among them was - "We don't know how long this will continue, but we hope it lasts."
