As a woman, this was disturbing to watch. I can’t share that video on my TL. This is abuse. The man who recorded and undressed her must be held accountable and compensate her for damages.
The fact that he is married, yet shamelessly undressed her, recorded it, and posted it online is insane. Women deserve protection from such vultures.
ODM expected Uhuru to give them money and also hit the road and campaign for them. Well, they need to talk to girls around. Sponsor haoshangi viombo kwa nyumba bwana! Wachaneni na sponsor kabisa!
The DCP leader has been quoted requesting the intervention of the USA to investigate Kenya’s leadership over allegations of sponsorship through funds linked to the Minnesota fraud case. Never mind it’s on the very party he was the running mate.
While the province of investigations does not belong to me, the sheer lack of wisdom in failing to distinguish between political differences and matters of grave international significance is alarming.
How can a leader seek to throw his own country into the deep end merely to score personal revenge? This brand of politics is retrogressive and dangerous. It reflects raw greed and naivety in handling matters that could have potentially catastrophic consequences.
To such people we say: A child can play with its mother’s breast, but not its father’s testicles
The leaders of the United Opposition put up an impressive fight in the just ended by-elections, each carrying a heavy political load under exceptionally difficult conditions. Rigathi Gachagua stood at the frontline, confronting the full force of state machinery deployed in Mbeere North, while his very new party DCP still managed to clinch three ward seats in Narok, Nairobi, and Kakamega.
Fred Matiang’i, the man who works with a precision and effectiveness that speaks loudly delivered three seats in Nyamira, proving why he is one or the most dependable anchors in our political landscape.
Kalonzo Musyoka not only secured a seat in Machakos, but also mounted a remarkable challenge in Magarini, where DCP came in a respectable second with surprisingly strong showing. And George Natembeya who fought tooth and nail in Malava, and also managed to win a ward seat right inside Wetangula’s political bedroom.
These four leaders navigated violence, voter bribery, intimidation, and the full weight of government influence, yet still emerged with critical wins. Their resilience in such a hostile environment speaks volumes.
But now, it is time to focus ahead.
The 2027 election is already taking shape, and this moment demands clarity, unity, and strategy. It is time to close ranks, strengthen our coordination, build a robust structure and sharpen our message. Divisions and infightings cannot be part of our journey at this critical stage. If we organize early, align our narrative to the everyday realities of the people and what we plan to do for them, and invest smartly and strategically, victory in 2027 is within reach.
And to our people in Mt. Kenya… we need a candid conversation behind the tent.
This habit of attending UDA meetings to collect money under the excuse of “njogu ndithikaguo na múgúongo” (an elephant is never buried with its tusks) needs honest reflection. Are we really telling ourselves the truth? Tafakari hayo.
We can't be first world if,years after Constitution 2010,we can't hold peaceful and fair elections. The militarization and 'goonification' of elections is an evil worse than 'mlolongo'. The East African neighborhood is becoming (or has been) extremely intolerant and despotic.
To my brother Rigathi Gachagua. I am an honest man. By now you know that. It is an undeniable fact that majority of our Mt Kenya people listen to you. You are ahead of the rest of us. You are edging closer to be our undisputed Kingpin in the Mountain. In fact just like Gideon Moi and William Ruto are working together, I might consider working with you very soon. I have only one humble request. Kindly refrain from insulting our leaders in general, our women leaders in particular and all Mt Kenya women by extension. Doesn't really sound commensurate with your undisputed kingpin status. Kindly sir. With profound respect!
To my fellow Octagenarians. We have been preparing for an exam in Biology using a Literarure Text Book. The solidarity young people are giving to Content Creator Kaluma Boy in Othaya today is symptomatic of the new Republic. Young people of this country have moved on without us. We are like that spare wheel at the back of a Land Rover. Smell the coffee wazee wenzangu. We lost our deposit !
