The camp is named Kiziba. I can tell you with certainty that many like him came from many camps across Easter Africa to join this struggle .
28 years of statelessness has formed many freedom combatants. And calling them foreigners is just one way of giving them motivation to fight for their inherent rights. His name is Nsabiyera, it seems like he was in refuge camp, doing advocacy until last year.
This is a story you would expect from those media outlets but they content themselves with precooked phrase“ Rwanda-backed” . They are not interested by the contextual truth let alone historical truth
I saw a guy who was spokesperson of a 28-years old refuge camp of Congolese Rwandophones in Rwanda,3 years ago.
At the time,M23 just resumed its struggle,in Congo more than ever Congolese Rwandophones were being burned at stake in front of cameras ,he was distributing letters of woe to all western embassies in Kigali.
Nobody heard him. Injustice continued undeterred, he joined M23’s armed struggle,he was among combatants who secured Bukavu yesterday.
If you think that he gives a damn that you assimilate him to Rwandan as a way to dismiss his legitimate grievances, think again.

“We are honoured by the designation of @Kigali_Memorial as a World Heritage Site. This acknowledges the memory of the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi and the role the Memorial plays through education in building sustainable peace.” @FreddyMutanguha, @Aegis_Trust CEO.
French Football coach & former PSG goalkeeper @BlamaOfficiel & Miss France 2017, @aliciaayliesoff honoured victims of Genocide against the Tutsi with a laying of wreaths at the burial place. They also learnt more about the history of Genocide through a tour of the exhibits.
A letter to the world community. In the hope that everyone reading this can understand my feelings and anger. It has been exactly 29 years since I lost almost my entire family during the genocide against Tutsi. The pain still runs deep, but the road to recovery and yes, forgiveness is there.
Despite everything, the path is always marked by setbacks and anger. An anger at injustice, an anger that cannot be put into words. A man like Kabuga Félicien, who was responsible, among other things, for financing the genocide that cost half of my family their lives, cannot be condemned.
We speak of a just world, but is it a just world if one group of peoples experiences it as just and the other does not?
Imagine someone who financed the
Holocaust is acquitted. The world would cry out, the world would react.
But why doesn't the world cry out when it comes to the suffering of my country? Why is my path to a just world always abused and stones put in the way?
You are turning people into monsters. You instigate them to take justice into their own hands.
I thank God that I will never be one of them.
But you are not making the world a better place. No!
You are making it much worse.
