I sent my first query after 3 years of working on my book. About 7 beta readers, 5 drafts, and one developmental edit.
Nervous but my last beta reader said it seems close to publishing quality so im optimistic!
2/2- She said she heard a little about it but does not celebrate the festival. It's interesting how news travels across borders. Meanwhile I have heard from white Canadians in Vancouver that they were unaffected, even though it was the racialized people I was thinking of first.
1/2 In the last day every piece of news I've seen in Canada has been about the Lapu-lapu day festival tragedy. I live in BC also so it happened close to me. I reached out to my Filipino friend in America recently, expressing my horror of the tragedy.
Finally got my license!
I can't even explain how hard I worked for this. It did not come easily to me!
Funnily enough I first got my L in Newfoundland 13 years ago, but then university and such happened, and the BC Transit gave me the independence I need
it feels so good!
Today i was actually on the couch with a blanket- ready to take a nap- but then I realized there are so much better things I could be doing with my day, so I got the f up and went for a run. Immediately. And you know what? I feel awesome.
This is your Pride Month reminder that 'asexual' looks like me. It looks like you. It looks like anyone regardless of their race, gender, style, religion or nationality.

Recently got my bloodwork done and I find out I have very low iron and am partly anemic. I'm actually so glad to finally have an explanation for my perpetual tiredness and fatigue that is treatable. Here I was thinking I was just incredibly lazy.
With all this talk about the "real" martha has anyone checked in on richard gadd? Hope he is doing okay. This is horrificly inconsiderate of him #BabyReindeer
Every time I go on tinder I remember why I call myself asexual. 670 + likes in the last day since downloading the app again and I am still not interested lol.
I get that it was Luputa Nyong'o but #etalk you could have asked Joseph Quinn one question.. you could see on his face he wanted to be asked something #Oscars2024
Now seems like a good time to announce this- since I've just officially registered- in November I will be participating in NaNoWriMo ! Writing a novel/50 000 words in one month! I've had an idea for ages, have an outline ready, and I'm finally ready to get going with it!
I have a strong urge to film a youtube video of me walking around the university of Victoria campus and noticing all the changes. It's been like 4 years since I graduated and I feel like it'll be fun to reflect on the passing of time
And I'd do it again. Asexual people deserve equal rights. And before anyone decides to be deliberately obtuse, read the article.
