The animator and illustrator, whose credits included Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, My Little Pony: The Movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Animaniacs, and Carmen Sandiego, has passed away after a tragic train accident in Annecy, France while attending the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

His work helped shape some of the most recognizable animated projects of the last decade, and he was reportedly at Annecy presenting his original project Ash Raider World — a reminder that his creative journey was still moving forward.

A heartbreaking loss for the animation community and everyone who connected with the worlds he helped bring to life. Rest in peace, Luis 🕊️

Tupac was once invited to record a verse for a Michael Jackson track.. he skipped his show and showed up to the studio ready to work and expecting to meet MJ but Michael sent his team to tell him he isn’t coming to meet him in person.. he should just lay his verse and he will finish it later. 2pac took it as disrespect, left the studio and proceeded to diss Michael Jackson on every freestyle video saying he wasn’t man enough to come say Hi but Michael ignored all.
