@yozahir Gen Hoshino for Japan and PSY for Korea. Very Storied, Consistent, and Charismatic People. IMO I don’t see a Korean besides PSY or a BlackPink member making a stance like KDot or Benito, but Japanese artists are very good at making a clear stance against norms.

@gayassjellyfish E33 would actually be way more popular in this scenario because it has a very recognizable art style of a famous video game. If it had the same music, followed the same themes artistically, and followed the exact same story, it would be more popular. Without a doubt.

If its your model and you train it on stuff that YOU OWN then there is literally nothing to complain about. Saying there is no nuance to the technology shows you should learn more about it.

@irateburrito @Haze_The_King @Aftermath_site Yea, this is because the concept phase is most likely complete, so the one part that AI was going to assist in (aside from white boxing which is arguably more akin to auto-rigging than creative AI) is done. This is what frustrates me. There is a bit more nuance than people think.

This is happening across the industry, but no one wants to show their hand at its efficiency, even if it’s sucks. No one wants to be behind in tech, so you try it.

These tools that are used sparcely are far less harmful than actually shipping a game with GENAI elements. I also excuse AI irl gore refs.

@irateburrito @Haze_The_King @Aftermath_site Legally yes. I asked for specific examples for what games Larian used GENERATIVE AI practices in and have not been given a single concrete answer. The solution? Everyone starts to witch-hunt any studio that tried GenAI early, even in the most ethical way possible.
