@DeepDishEnjoyer I pay monthly to my Doctor for his services and out of pocket for maintenance drugs and then I only have to deal with insurance if something crazy happens and Tax free HSA is a nice bonus that makes things pretty seamless in the event of a big problem.

@DeepDishEnjoyer I haven’t had a PPO in 10 years. I also hate dealing with insurance companies. I’m pretty happy with HDHP plan + HSA + Direct Primary care doctor.

@fredsoda That's doesn't reduce to nihilism, either. It's values, realtionships, & community. If you're still 'losing' there, well those aren't zero-sum and you should consider your priorities. No time like the present.
