"The Kyoto Story"
For @NotionHQ – the early days. Kyoto, the historic Japanese city. The craft capital of Asia. Deeply inspirational. Traditional makers. Beauty and utility. Aesthetic and function. Duality.
Short Piece 001 / @jestonlu
This past April, I paid a visit to Kyoto.
Being the place that marked a significant chapter in @NotionHQ's early days, it felt fitting to create a short video dedicating what Ivan calls:
"Kyoto is a very special place... a craft central."
I love beautiful harmonies.
The ones that makes your heart melt the moment you hear it. Each chord, rich with flavor and beauty.
Despite being a big believer in melodies, I'd sometimes let harmonies hang in the air. To hear it a tad bit longer. To let the sound ring. To let it reach every corner of the room. Let it ripple. Let it dissolve.
Sound is magical.
I'm hosting my final dinner salon in Singapore 🇸🇬
This time, we're going ALL OUT with @grandtourhq.
Booked an entire venue. 25+ people. This coming Wednesday, April 15th. 6 p.m.
Thank you so much for everyone for making it possible <3.

"The Great China Adventure" Original Soundtrack is finally out on all music platforms!
45 compositions through the heart of China – from the cities of Beijing and Xi'an to the countryside of Sichuan.
Live down below:
Last December, I premiered "The Great China Adventure," a 2.5-hour film about my grand voyages in China.

Soon live on all music streaming platforms :)
Piano playing is the essence of my art.
I love beautiful design. Not just with typography, colors, or the things you see with your eyes, but also with sound. I heard someone say "music is an elaborate way of decorating time," and now I can never unsee it.
I live for beautiful melodies. Melodies that weave, stretch, and dance with time. Melodies that make your heart flutter or remind you of a once-distant memory.
I don't compose for a particular style, but if there's one it's this: neo-romanticism. Unapologetically melodic, lush harmonies, memorable themes, and storytelling as a way to communicate a feeling, a story.
It is out.
We made the impossible possible.
2.5 months. 45 compositions. 3,500+ video clips. All manually color-graded. 1,000+ captions. 19 cities.
"The Great China Adventure" IS OUT.
ENJOY THE SHOW!! 🇨🇳❤️🔥
