KIND REQUEST🙏🏾
Whoever has any video frames of the rugby guy being beaten, kindly share them via the email in my bio or my DMs. I am trying to analyze them frame by frame and maybe try to identify some faces!
Kindly retweet for awareness!
How I wish this guy would tweet something about Sydney’s tragedy with all his intelligence and ability to find out anything. These are the actual people he’s supposedly fighting for
What fact triggered Nameere? Was it the Forestry ministry? Or it was the Papito Emeritus?
What if we talk about her late mother the same way she talked about Spire’s late brother (RIP)?
She can stoop low but we may stoop lower & forass, we speak with receipts btw!
Story time!
Last year we @JadaCoffee received a grant Ugx 75,000,000 from NSSF Hi Innovator Program to buy a coffee Roaster to boost our production! In the picture below that is when we imported the machine! What an exciting experience for an entrepreneur!
That sounds like it’s a smooth experience but it has been rough!
As an entrepreneur you dream of the day you will get a financial booster for your business and when that day comes, you feel relieved.
That Roaster and its importation cost more than what I had anticipated but the goal was to make sure it gets here and we roll.
As entrepreneurs we have to find solutions for our businesses otherwise dreams die.
That almost gave me a heart attack because I had a deadline to submit to my innovation hub/NSSF a report with evidence-Photo that I had acquired a roaster.
Some of you saw that tweet when URA couldn’t release the machine and was asking millions of money yet the policy is clear that Agricultural machinery is exempted from taxes. I finally got the exemption letter!
The machine is here, I have acquired a stand alone which needed renovations and adjustments to fit a production house. Another cost!
In August we then opened and it was all going well. We improved our quality and increased production. We helped 7 companies start their own coffee brands and registered 5 coffee companies to roast with us.
Mid November Thieves robbed the place and took most of the machines and other Roastery things. With the help of the police we recovered the grinder & computer, the rest up-to this day have never been recovered. We had to buy more things to start operating.
We resumed in January and so far we are slowly picking up!
This story is to empower and motivate entrepreneurs that no matter what comes your way, keep it going! Sometimes you see companies but every company is struggling with something!
DON’T GIVE UP!
Speaking of business challenges…
In June last year, I took a business loan from @SHONACapital. I was so excited this had to be the turning point. What could go wrong?
Turns out… everything can.
I used the money well because I knew what was at stake, put into stock from China. Didn’t even touch a coin.
Then importation delayeddddddd…URA and the whole process held my goods for 16 weeks, 4 months for something that used to take 6 weeks!
In the 4 months, loan repayments started. No cash flow. Rent was running. Stock stuck in a bond in Namanve.
Then taxes came out… more than half the cost of the stock I had imported.
I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes and asked myself Naye nfaki ? Why don’t I just stick to my 9-5 and leave this madness!!
But then I looked at the people I employ, I picked myself up and somehow found the money within hours paid URA their money.
I almost quit. I won’t lie.
But I reminded myself, it’s me. I don’t have the luxury of giving up.
So I reset. Rethought everything. Told myself if I fail, it won’t be because I didn’t fight.
Today, we’re still here @thesoleconnect1
New location: Royce Mall, Level 4, Shop 1&2.
New stock in.
If you support a small business, you’re doing more than buying. You’re helping someone hold it together one more day.
