@EvangelismOnlin Jesus gives a sense of belonging and calling. Christ’s invitation to participate in the Body of Christ offers a purpose and unifying mission for each person and community. Connection through belonging. @EvangelismOnlin 7/8

So whenever you encounter any annoying male-centered nonsense that discredits women's prophetic voices simply because OT prophetic books are named after men, point them to our good friend Huldah and invite them to take a seat. #bibhb500 #notallprophets

The Hebrew Bible has a lot of prophets in it-- many have canonical books named after them (Isaiah, Micah, Amos, etc.). But contrary to popular belief, #NotAllProphets in the Hebrew Bible were men. We got some women prophets in the house! #Bibhb500

Plus there are other women prophets throughout the Hebrew text (e.g. Miriam in Exodus 15, Deborah in Judges 4, Noadiah in Nehemiah 6)... So let's be real, the church really misses out when it only looks for/accepts prophetic witness from male voices. #bibhb500 #notallprophets
