Battir is a Palestinian village west of Bethlehem, known for it unique irrigation system and man-made terraces. In 2014, Battir was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Mohammed Tamimi is the youngest victim of the brutal Israeli apartheid regime this year. The 2-year-old toddler was just pronounced dead after being shot in the head by the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Nabi Saleh on Thursday night.
