ALBERTANS!!! Why would anyone vote against the referendum this Oct19? It’s non binding so essentially all it does is tell the rest of the country we mean business. If you’re truly against Independence u can always vote that way in round 2 but this one is a no brainer, vote YES!!!
My US sources told me that President Trump was going to offer Trudeau a zero tariff reciprocal free trade deal.
Instead of talking to President Trump as a respectful adult Justine took it upon himself to lecture him for almost two hours on how to be a better feminist.
Since then Carney has raised the spectre of war with the US over Greenland and publicly insulted President Trump at Davos.
Now Carney wants to “Make America Great Again”, after touting the New World Order and his “Strategic Alliance” with Communist China.
These two morons have destroyed our most valuable trading relationship and can’t understand why Canada is the only G7 nation in a recession.
Carney is the biggest loser. Hey look everybody we’re in a recession don’t worry though it’s a good thing. Me and all my loser friends are going to print more money for everybody but Canadians. Then we’re going to tax the shit out of you. It’ll make us the strongest economy in the G7. The media who we’ve bought and paid for will tell you we are continuing on the path of greatness. Then we’re going to jail and silence all the separatists in Alberta so they can’t become prosperous. Also we will shut down the internet so they can’t hold us to account anymore. Did I leave anything out????
In the coming weeks and months, you're going to hear a lot of people say "start a separatists party" in Alberta...like they did in Quebec.
A lot of those voices will be coming from the left.
Why?
Here's the current popular vote projection for Alberta. If just 27% of the UCP supporters left the party, that would be enough to split the right and give the NDP a majority of the popular vote.
If Nenshi got elected, he would reverese a lot of Smith's policies, and make it impossible to hold a referendum in the future.
Taking control of the UCP is more important than starting a new party.
Hey @AlbertanMitch you collected 301,000 pro-independence signatures. You organized you canvassers by provincial ridings. Will you tell us how many signatures were collected in each of the 87 ridings? We'd like to know where the support is, and where we need to increase our educational efforts.
300,000 people signed a petition for a vote.
But a reserve with 33 people on it gets a veto, according to a Trudeau-appointed judge.
Oh -- and their chief is literally an anti-oil activist on a foreign payroll. Source: https://t.co/kOvS564Y1E
Justice Shaina Leonard, a Trudeau-appointed judge originally from New Brunswick, just ruled that only Quebec can have referendums on independence, not Alberta.
I'm sure this will tamp down any hard feelings.
Media pundits and federalists keep declaring Alberta independence dead...
They said we’d never get the signatures
We did
They said 1 court ruling would kill the movement
It won’t
Now they say independence is dead
It isn’t
One way or another, Albertans are voting Oct. 19th
HUGE: The House of Commons just confirmed it.
An Alberta independence referendum does not need 60% or 66%.
The threshold is 50% + 1.
A clear majority is enough to change everything.
I go to the reserve every 2 weeks. I buy 250 litres of fuel and a carton of cigarettes.
Each trip saves me about $200.
That works out to $5k a year in tax savings.
Fuck the govt. Fuck taxes.
@MarcNixon24@AllenGramlich Next thing you know Alberta will be raiding homeless shelters. defacing statues, urinating on war monuments, and trying to start apartment buildings on fire. Just sayin….🤷♀️
The moment Alberta independence signatures cross 300,000 & submitted
Suddenly the airwaves are flooded with:
Russia narratives
U.S. interference narratives
Fake AI YouTube channel stories
Alberta voter data leak headlines
Attempts to tie the UCP to controversy
Then out comes Mark Carney promising deregulation, faster approvals and suddenly acting like Ottawa discovered urgency overnight.
Amazing how quickly the political class moves once national unity and public anger become REAL threats.
Convenient timing across the board.
Jen,
Respectfully, the Albertan countryside which is the size of Ukraine is done.
So done that there is no going back.
We are not Canadian.
We don’t trust the people and culture ruling us from 3000km away.
We are going to push until Alberta is free of the Canadian regime
Completely bizarre.
The Chief Public Health Officer of Canada can’t bring herself to say that fentanyl consumption is unsafe!
Instead, she mumbles incoherent word salads.
Fentanyl is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. A tiny dose can be fatal. Tens of thousands of Canadians have died by consuming it.
If she can’t communicate clearly the enormous danger of fentanyl consumption, she’s in the wrong job and should be fired.
