Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter 112 of the Quran)
1. Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One,
2. Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
3. He neither begets nor is born,
4. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
Almighty. Keep us steadfast, enduring the trials You send our way. Grant us a soft heart, always content with Your Decree. Grant us sincerity, success & protect us from harm. Aameen
This world is temporary. You’re on a journey. You’ve not reached your final destination yet. An eternal abode awaits. The Hereafter. So quit stressing over everything that happens. Nothing lasts. Let the Almighty take over after you’ve done your best.
You have the chance to start anew every day when the Almighty returns your soul to you after sleep. It’s up to you to decide today how you want to live your life; in His pleasure or displeasure. You have a duty to fulfil. Make it a good one.
Don’t dwell on how privileged you are. It’s how you end the journey that matters. Strive to live a life that endears you to your Creator. Everything else is secondary. Keep asking for a good end. May Allah Almighty take us when He’s most pleased with us.
Don’t always expect things to go your way. They won’t. If the Almighty delays what you’ve asked for or decides not to give it, it’s one of the biggest tests of your faith and patience. Don’t lose the plot. Stay firm.
You may find it hard to be grateful and to thank the Almighty when you’re going through a struggle. But give thanks as He strengthens you even more. That’s your real test.
Stay connected to the Almighty. Cut off all wrong connections. Those who try to lead you astray. Those who waste your time. Let them all go. Life’s too short to be engaging in futile activities.
Almighty. Help those who are broken; with broken hearts and broken lives. Comfort them. Bless them with healing. Change their circumstances. Help them make sense of all the chaos going on around them. Make them feel whole again. Aameen.
It’s a fact that we won’t like everyone who comes into our lives. That’s okay because we’re humans. Let people leave gracefully. Don’t be petty and say nasty things about them. Be mature. Take it in good spirit. We all have our likes and dislikes.
Stop comparing yourself to others. If the Almighty wants you to have what others have, He will give it to you, if not now, perhaps at some stage later on. Be happy with His Decree. Learn to accept His plan. If you’re grateful, He will surely grant you more.
Watch out. Desire. Anger and negligence. The foundations for Satan's attack. Be aware. Be mindful. Protect yourself from this and seek the Almighty's help daily.
Lift someone today. Make someone happy today. Do a good deed. Be kind, even to strangers. Spread goodness. Smile. Do whatever it takes. Just do it. Happiness is contagious. Let us spread it far and wide.
May the Almighty accept our worship, supplication and good deeds. May He bestow His Mercy upon us all. May He protect our brothers and sisters facing oppression the world over. May He put an end to their suffering. Aameen.
If you let Ramadan pass without seeking & being granted His Forgiveness, you have truly missed out. So don't let ignorance & negligence overtake you. Seek His Forgiveness to get closer to Him. Do it in these last days.
Every night of Ramadan is a door. Some walk past it. Some knock. And some enter with tears and come out forgiven. Almighty, protect us from Hellfire and grant us Your Forgiveness.
