the worst thing about being chronically suicidal is that you don't plan for the future because you are just planning to be dead, and then it's the future and you are not dead and you've just totally fucked up your life for no reason.
you don’t even save money having an eating disorder. anorexia = buying ridiculously expensive low cal items, bulimia = buying extensive quantities of foods, ridding yourself of them and getting hungry + going at it again, and BED = buying unfathomable portions of food over n over
imagine getting to live an actual childhood and getting to live happy normal teenage years and getting to live an actual life and having actual opportunities waiting for you in the future
whenever i feel sad i rewatch kamikaze girls because momoko is the only character who makes me feel not alien from how much i relate to her, i love her so so much
I think one of the unfortunate things abt being accommodating is that ppl eventually stop recognizing your flexibility as something you're choosing to give them. It becomes the baseline for the relationship. Then the first time you prioritize yourself, you’re demonized
CPTSD is sitting alone on your birthday and telling yourself you like it this way. It’s convincing yourself you don’t need anyone when the truth is, you needed people deeply once and they weren’t there for you. So you learned to stop needing them before they could be the ones to leave first. The loneliness you choose can still feel safer than the abandonment you never chose.
I hate when people say suicide is solution to a temporary problem, CPTSD isn't temporary, trauma is lifetime thing, you're mentally destroyed for life and it affects your physical health and career and social skills, your self image, relationships and SO ON!
“your trauma made you stronger” no, my trauma made me traumatized, it made me weak, gave me sleepless nights and it gave me feelings i’ve never wanted. i made myself stronger by dragging myself out of a dark place and dealing with consequences that weren’t my fault
