Rwandan peacekeepers deployed under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), together with their colleagues from UNMISS Malakal, today provided free medical treatment to residents of Diel Payam along the shores of the White Nile in Upper Nile State during a routine river patrol.
The medical services provided included consultations for common illnesses, malaria treatment, child healthcare, sensitization, and other general medical services. Essential medicines were also distributed free of charge to the residents.https://t.co/2mRFIof55w

🇷🇼Rwanda goes nuclear with 🇷🇺Russia!
⚛️Russia & Rwanda have signed a roadmap to develop a small modular nuclear reactor project.
Compact yet powerful, such reactors offer cleaner, scalable energy while occupying a fraction of the footprint of conventional NPP.

This evening, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined a full BK Arena for the Basketball Africa League (@theBAL) Season 6 Final game between Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers and Angola’s Petro de Luanda.
RSSB Tigers were crowned champions after a hard-fought 90–88 victory, becoming the first Rwandan team to win the BAL title since the league was launched in 2021.
Nerve-wracking game! Both teams fought for their lives and left it all on the pitch.
Congratulations to @PSG_inside, the Champions of Europe! 🏆
And huge congratulations to @Arsenal for an incredible run and a remarkable streak this season.

Here’s is my full quote on Rwanda’s nuclear energy agenda, it was unfortunately chopped up to fit the writer’s storyline:
“Rwanda is working with a variety of global partners to develop our civil nuclear capabilities. In addition to Russian company Rosatom, a world leader in construction of nuclear power plants, last week at the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit in Kigali, Rwanda signed an MoUs with the US Government, to advance civil nuclear cooperation between the two countries, as well as other agreements between Rwanda’s Atomic Energy Board and companies from the United States, South Africa and Austria.
In Rwanda, feasibility studies for both the construction of a facility using SMR technology and establishing the Centre for Nuclear Science and Technology are ongoing. Historically, these kinds of projects have been financed by governments, but more recently multilateral development banks have started discussions around financing frameworks to expand access for emerging economies embarking on nuclear energy development.”
Congratulations to our #VisitRwanda partner Paris Saint-Germain @PSG_inside on their well-deserved UEFA @ChampionsLeague title and on being crowned champions for the second consecutive year.
Congratulations as well to @Arsenal on reaching the final and fighting with determination until the very end.
Both clubs have made their supporters proud, but tonight, PSG proved to be the better team!
