Hulhumalé Hospital is in chaos. With just one emergency case, the hospital appears unable to properly attend to the rest of the patients waiting for care.
This is a serious concern for a growing population like Hulhumalé.

Very disappointing to see this happen today. Every other channel seems to be working, but the channels showing the World Cup are not.
At a time when people are excited and waiting to watch the match, this is really frustrating.

BREAKING:
Trump and Israel are bombing Iran’s energy infrastructure.
Millions are now plunged into total darkness in Tehran and Karaj.
This is civilian infrastructure.
This is collective punishment.
This is a war crime.
The failure is of governance.
Badly planned.
Badly designed.
Badly executed.
Why?
Because all this "development" is about opaque and questionable "contracts" among a small group of politico-business actors. All abusing public office and public assets.

We only wish the government could see Vilimalé through our eyes. No one is saying no to development; we are simply asking the development to be carried out in a way that preserves the beauty and greenery of this island. @MMuizzu@presidencymv @MoCImv @MoTmv
@MMuizzu@presidencymv @MoCImv @MoTmv Let us invest in parks, beaches, and small kiosks that offer food and ice cream. Let us create spaces where families can spend the day, relax, and enjoy the island’s natural beauty. Let us make Vilimalé a place where children can run freely, ride their bicycles.
@MMuizzu@presidencymv @MoCImv @MoTmv Let us not allow the same to happen to Vilimalé — a community cherished by so many Maldivians. Its green and peaceful neighbourhood is a place where many parents bring their children on weekends and holidays to escape the concrete cages of city life.
Increasing the population density per square metre will only create more problems. Just look at Hulhumalé — it is a recent development, yet many of its issues are already becoming difficult to manage. Over time, it could become even more congested and problematic than Malé.

Close to the city, but far from the rush.
Vilimalé is calm island life with sea breeze, greenery, quiet streets, and a beautiful community spirit. Less crowded, more relaxed, and more connected to nature.

First they enclose.
Then they destroy.
This is the strategy @governmentmv@MaleCitymv uses to dispossess the people of this country from their right to nature.
If people do not resist this dispossesion, expect to live airless lives imprisond in concrete cubes.
