One account I’ve been interacting with just retweeted an elitist post, agreeing with it. It’s like they’re forming an exclusive bubble, looking down on ones not belonging to the "bubble". I blocked them immediately. People shouldn't throw a wet blanket on others.
My friend has three dogs and entered them in a contest! So she took us to a dog show! It was fun. I even saw a vet's stand there, and it was exactly like the "Doctor is in" booth from Peanuts. As a non-native speaker, I was amazed to see how "is in" is actually used !
We started watching a Korean show called "Karma". At first, I thought it was simple, but I was wrong. Everything we saw was delicate foreshadowing, and in the end, all of them were intertwined like a straight lane.
#夕食後の映画・ドラマ
Lately, I've been watching a Chinese drama "Nice to Meet You."🥰
Notes:
✅conniving [kənáiviŋ] (≃sly)
✅per se (by itself)
✅cajole [kədʒóul] (persuade someone by sweet talk) ✅conundrum (a confusing and difficult problem)
✅archaistic [ɑ̀rkiístik] mimicking an ancient style

✅English note: "dark cuisine" (a slang term for bizarre-looking food, somewhat similar to the Japanese slang ”汚料理”

The other day, I learned a new color word from my friend. She told me she loves "teal" and showed me what it looks like. It’s such a beautiful color!
Note:
✅"teal" /tiːl/ A deep, rich bluish-green color
It is interesting that many Japanese English learners consider their studying process as climbing a mountain. For me, it is NOT a mountain. I will never see the top. It is like dreaming of grazing the beautiful celestial maiden's dress hem someday.
