Fish wrangler & Senior Collection Manager, Vertebrate Zoology & #SciArt @museumsvictoria. Love peering at nature. Views my own. RT/likes not endorsement.
Today we went to the Moon and came back to earth! I am at a loss for words for all the support I have received from all over the world.
Thank you to all who gave me the opportunity. Asante.

White-headed Pigeon in South Gippsland, Victoria, 26-27 April 2019 - on the Fish Creek-Foster Road ridge, 5 mins from Foster - perhaps the most southerly verified record @BirdlifeOz? Seemed quite tame - or just freezing cold!
THANK YOU to all the wonderful women working in museums the world - especially the fabulous team of Katie Date, Karen Roberts & @arel_erickson who manage and care for our vertebrate collections @melbournemuseum@museumsvictoria@LynleyCrosswell International Women’s Day #iwd2019
Big gulp! The Nautilus team spotted a gulper eel doing just that in @HawaiiReef. That pouch-like mouth can inflate in an instant, scooping up much larger prey like a pelican! This gulper was likely a juvenile, as they can grow up to three feet in length. #NautilusinPMNM
“We are here again today because we believe that facing our history, Australia’s history, is so important to our futures. And that these stories are still not being heard. This history is not just yours and ours. It is every Australian’s history."
We are all connected by the past. Our futures are impacted by what & how we choose to remember. I am very privileged to participate in the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Coniston Massacre. We need to understand this difficult & complex past.
