I just published “Where are the Voices of Social Workers in the Sizeism Conversation?” https://t.co/nOhJWDyNtG #macrosw #bodypositive #haes

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@SethJMeyer @OfficialMacroSW Yes it is.

[Deona Hooper, MSW @deonahooper]

I couldn't agree more. Social Workers are doing fab things but they are often hidden within other organizations #macrosw https://t.co/t8j8mG5MvC

A3: I wish #socialwork would step up and lead. I support organizations like @ACLU w/ the public courage of their convictions. #MacroSW

[UBuffalo Social Work @UBSSW]

Well, @deonahooper Well, here we are- on the front line of #DigitallyLiterate #SocialWork #Brigade! #MacroSW

[Sunya Folayan @SunyaFolayan]

Such compelling responses...perhaps a topic for another chat! 3 minutes to closing. Next week is Organizing Night with @karenzgoda

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

This was an awesome chat. Thanks for hosting. Stay the course and I will see you guys back here next week. #MacroSW

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@shorty_sap Yes, let's get at it. lol. Resist at all angles.

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@SWDan89 LOL!

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@deonahooper We are behind. Knowing this drives me up a wall sometimes.

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

Okay so the twitter chats were a bit daunting at first but being part of these chats fires me up to go out and do social work #MacroSW

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

A3 But these are opinions based on what I see in my little piece of the world. I am sure there are many SW's leading movements. #MacroSW

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

A3 The diversity could be causing a lack of cohesion. #MacroSW

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

A3 I feel we may be fragmented due to our myriad of interests and passions. We are one of the most diverse professions out here #MacroSw

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

A3 I know pockets of social workers leading movements. But as a larger community, I feel we can be a bit fragmented. #MacroSW

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@amanda_ajaeb It takes me back to a time in my life when things were much easier. Great show indeed.

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@TheMattSchwartz Yaaassssss!

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@SunyaFolayan @OfficialMacroSW I always feel replenished when I fast from social media. Never thought about it as self-care. Thanks for reframing it for me.

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@TheMattSchwartz Matt, I think I will end up being Dorothy. lol.

[Michelle Scott @mvscott475]

@MrsReagan86 I am looking forward to getting a dog. Once I do he or she will be part of my self-care as well.
