@edwin_budding @_michaelbrooks Agree that he definitely should have hit harder on SS and other issues - but again, he got a free pass from the media so maybe it would have broken through, maybe not
@edwin_budding @_michaelbrooks The left obviously wanted him to go harder against JB. But who knows how that would have played among rank and file Dems, who, by and large, like the Dem party, maybe didn't want to see an establishment figure (BS) torn down, and probably rightly view Sanders as an interloper
Love the latest from @mtaibbi, and like a lot his articles, I was a little sad when I reached the end because I wish it was longer

“The Combahee River Collective...wrote in our statement that all of the systems of oppression are interlocking....I think that the Sanders campaign and the candidate himself are absolutely consistent with what we meant by identity politics.”
I interviewed candidate for LA City Council District 4, Nithya Raman about her campaign and what we can do to address the housing and homeless crises in Los Angeles and America https://t.co/9A8vLQm7Sz
@shujaxhaider Thanks for sharing Shuja this means a lot. When my dad was alive he'd send photography articles he found to try to connect. It was always hard talking about my art for a lot of the same reasons. It sounds weird to say but I feel we still have a relationship even though he's gone
