@AdelaideMetroSA Playing devil's advocate here but my favourite coffee is the one my wife makes me right before I walk out the door, drunk from either the keep cup my son gave me for Fathers Day, or the one my BIL gave me as a groomsman gift β€οΈππ΅β
@9NewsAdel But like mobile phones in classrooms, how will it be enforced? Short of using facial / age recognition & automatically deactivating pre-existing accounts where the users are identified as under age, what is to stop youths from simply using a fake DOB?
@9NewsAdel Hate to say it, but just because there is a rule/policy in place, doesn't mean you can trust 100% of school students to abide by it - kids can be very cunning & there isn't always a way of policing / ensuring they haven't hidden their phone to avoid handing it in.
So although I'm not a big drinker, I do like to challenge myself (& my willpower, more so!). Being able to do this & support a good cause at the same time = best of both worlds, in my opinion! Any support you can give, will be greatly appreciated!

@theTiser@marshall_steven Oh yes, 'cos that's just such a mature & professional way of handling things! Talk about damned if he does, damned if he doesn't!
Farewell to another legend of the stage & screen π’! 99 years well lived, with talent, grace & a sense of humour to boot! RIP & thank you for the laughs!

@phyllis_fu Sadly, there is no cure for ignorance or denial. I couldn't imagine how painful these conversations are, as it is, without the above coming into play!
@theTiser Unfortunately a case of "damned if they do, damned if they don't!" People will always complain, no matter what is/isn't done!
I'm glad they're leaving things as is, whilst taking added precautions & monitoring the situation to determine if further changes are needed.
