My heart bleeds for Kenyans because we really think we are the exception to Iran , DRC , Sudan , Afghanistan, Nigeria. The pattern is visible and no one is the exception to bad leadership , greed and corruption.
Please please Nairobi and I beg you for the next week mkikula kwa kibanda don't drink that water in Jugs in there, ama ujipate na Typhoid, amoeba and some other 10 parasitical illnesses
I can comfortably say that I love my life. There’s a bit more work to be done, and things will never be perfect, but I’m really enjoying this era of my life.
Someone said, “This is your life… and you’re letting people make you miserable in it?” And that really made me pause. Because when you think about it, this is the only life you get. The only timeline that belongs to you. And sometimes we hand over control of our mood, our peace, and our joy to people who aren’t even managing their own. It made me realize how much power we give away without noticing. At some point, you have to decide: if this is my life, why am I letting outside energy run it? That thought stuck with me.
Nobody prepares you for the amount of pain and grief you experience when you have to forgive yourself for believing someone was actually a genuine person. The hardest part isn't just their betrayal, it's the shame you carry for ignoring your instincts.
