On the international women's day I pay tribute to my late wife, Ellen, for having predicted, on 13 November 1977, a successful conclusion of the Mwangwego script project.
It was in April 1979 that the Mwangwego script was invented when the inventor was 28 years old. It was on Monday April 7, 1997 that this script was inaugurated when the inventor was 46 years old. He is commemorating this achievement at 74. What a successful journey!

@NationOnlineMw What people are calling Magalasi road is incorrect. The correct name is Chileka Road starting from Clock Tower up to Chileka Airport. Magalasi Road starts from Magalasi along Chileka Road up to Chinseu in Ndirande.

I have some medium and long term solutions to some of Malawi's problems but the Malawian elite cannot take them because they say I am insane for having created a script that they will never adopt.
November 10, 1977, I decided to create a writing system for Malawian languages. I was 26 yeas old. I made it when I was 28. I inaugurated it when I was 46. Today I am 71 and still waiting for Malawi Govt to recognise my script. They may do so when I am no more.
