This alone tells you how disconnected many of our leaders are from the realities faced by ordinary Nigerians. If the Presidential Villa itself is complaining about the high cost of electricity and choosing to go off grid, what hope is there for the common man?

Rather than focusing on making electricity more affordable and accessible for everyone, those in power simply opt out of the problem and leave the rest of the population to bear the burden.
