Mr. Tallon, our beloved principal, is retiring after years of dedication to our children and families in the Malverne school district.

The motto for Maurice W. Downing elementary school, "it starts at Downing", perfectly embodies Mr. Tallon's impact on our community - he has set the foundation for countless students to succeed and thrive.
