PS Fikirini Jacobs must answer difficult questions. How does a young man attend a youth empowerment event connected to your office and end up dead in a government vehicle assigned to your office? Who authorized the vehicle's use? Who was inside it at every stage of the journey? Why do different accounts of what happened appear to conflict? What instructions were given after the shooting, and were all relevant records, communications, and evidence immediately preserved for investigators?
Public office carries a duty of accountability. These questions deserve clear, verifiable answers through a transparent and independent investigation.
MP Clive Gisairo says the KSh 3.8 billion Ngong Road to Naivasha Road overpass could have been funded by cutting the State House budget instead of borrowing from Spain.
Herman Manyora describes the overpass as "that thing" and says he is still not convinced it cost KSh 3.8 billion.
Gisairo also argues that if local contractors had built the project, it would have cost less.
He claims President Ruto's government is obsessed with billion shilling contracts and would not entertain any tender worth less than KSh 1 billion.
He has been killed by a tutam PS after being used to mobilise desperate youths to sing tutam. Let me be honest with people being used to sing tutam when they can see what's happening. Tutam government doesn't care about you either. Kula mia uwasaidie kurudi and suffer forever!
If this were a country governed by the rule of law,
He should have resigned as early as yesterday,
When the incident occurred, to allow an investigation to commence.
It is a tragic paradox that someone whose appointment was precipitated by the Gen Z protests has become associated with the very killings that appointment sought to end.
Fikirini Jacobs was widely perceived as having been appointed to represent the youth and help stop the loss of young lives and represent their interests in government.
It is deeply ironic that he now faces accusations of being complicit in actions against the same generation he was expected to protect.
It represents a profound betrayal of the generation he was entrusted to represent. Here is his phone number, the Gen Zs should tell him something now that he has started the journey of assassinating them!
If you choose to support a regime accused of killing, corruption, and repression, don't assume you will be spared from the consequences of its actions. History has shown that injustice eventually consumes even those who cheer it on.
God gave you a brain; use it. Why praise leaders accused of stealing from the public and violating the rights of citizens? If they can target others today, they can target you tomorrow.
Wake up before it's too late. Tomorrow's tears could be your own.
The next President needs to have the following as top priority items:
1. Reform the ODPP and remove Ingonga from that office. That job is clearly bigger than the man
2. Transform the Police into a service beginning with their training and recruitment
3. Arrest & jail tax thieves
Halafu sangwenya wa tutam,
