@DanOBrienPoker When I worked in the service industry in CA, I also had to take weird breaks early in my shift due to this law.
In other states without this law, I was expected to work up to 10 hour shifts without a single break.
I strongly prefer the CA method.
Optional breaks = no breaks
@ETRAIN57@BartHanson@WSOP If multiple players bust from the same table, it is based on chip stacks. If they just at different tables, chip stacks become irrelevant and they all tie for the same position.
@BenWilinofsky@JLlama99@ikepoker Each table plays the standup game to start. Last man standing at each table gets a hex. After 1 or 2 hours, random redraw. Standup game one more time. If you want max chaos, a third redraw and standup game.
Rebuys over, hexes are harder to lose now. Game on.
@BenWilinofsky@JLlama99@ikepoker Exact same stacks won’t happen all that often. But if you want max chaos, just rule the hex stays in play with winner of the hand.
Best idea would be to do it as a rebuy tourney to start. 40 or 45 players depending on if you’re going 8 or 9 handed. (1/2)
@BenWilinofsky@JLlama99@ikepoker When a hexed player is all in, their hex is part of the pot. All hexes in the pot go to the worst hand.
Gives hexed players a chance to shed their hexes (win an all-in at showdown), and brings down bounty hunting EV by adding a penalty for doubling up the all in player.
@wsop@JackEffel Long Registration lines make it difficult to sign up for the mega satellites throughout the day. Any chance you can open registration the night before? I would love to reg for tomorrows $1k mega tonight instead of having to fight the lines tomorrow.
Weird day of poker in the monster stack. Very card dead, folded 95% of my hands, only played in 5 pots over 20 BBs all day long. I busted someone on 4 of the 5 hands.
Bagged 224.5k from 50k, avg is 156k. Back to 3k BB on Sunday w/ about 30% of the field remaining.
