@RealCaptainLou Instead of Darko we could have had Carmelo, or Wade or Bosh. But the Piston won the championship the next year. I would say Zadina is worse. We could have had Quinn Hughes, or Dobson, or anyone who could contribute. And the Wings were/and or in a playoff drought at the time.

First issues with the glass in the Michigan State game, now glass issues during Penn State vs Minn. Duluth. NCAA hockey plays so hard apparently they can’t keep the plexiglass together!

@mikeiavasile The 1 seeds should host the regionals on campus. Would it be an advantage to the 1 seeds? Yes, but they earned it. And the atmosphere would be electric. You could put capacity minimums so if Providence was a 1 seed they might need to find a bigger rink close to campus.

And yet each of them had to play college hockey outside of Michigan because there are no D1 NCAA Women’s Hockey teams in our state. That NEEDS to change!

@IanKennedyCK After setting the US attendance record the last 2 years and yet the new teams ending up out west may have caused some doubt as to if we show up, we will get a PWHL team in Detroit. I am not saying it wasn’t the right choice, but it can make an up hill climb feel like Everest.
