I asked da bot to update the shotgun meme for programming languages: https://t.co/XP56JweiHT
I think it absolutely nailed #ruby:
"You shoot yourself in the foot with one line of code so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes. Then Rails reloads and shoots the other one."
@zverok makes an astute obersvation about #ruby. "It's [syntax/API/design] allows one to internalize its functioning, as opposed to just memorizing the cheatsheets." source: https://t.co/VkElvvTL76
And yes, I do know about the Inspector, but I have no idea how to inspect the many different highlights like the background ones, or the ones not under the cursor...
I've been struggling for hours to get highlighting sane in all it's variations in #vscode. Looking for a cheat sheet or guide that actually covers the multitude of combinations and layering that's going on.
@EddyVinckk Assuming I can bring my current development machine as it stands today, I'd build games to keep me entertained and occupied and keep an offline blog about my adventure I can publish when I get out.
@AgilePeter I start getting 2FA's and emails saying my wallets, pass phrase, seed, etc. are hacked -- to click links, to call numbers to fix, yada, yada, yada. 5 years of silence on this front, suddenly dozens of emails, texts in two week's time.
I started a new #ruby open source project for #DEVCommunity called quantitative that is a gem library for automated trading of stocks, cryptos, forex, etc. https://t.co/bZkMS2izty
Sometimes I get bored. I decided to start blogging again. Today's my first blog since COVID-19. Let's see where this journey leads!
