Pi Network sets September 15 target for its Protocol 27 mainnet upgrade

Pi Network (@PiCoreTeam) began upgrading its testnet to Protocol 27 on Friday, following the completed Protocol 26 upgrade on mainnet. The new version centers on smart contract authentication.

The upgrade is set to give accounts and applications more advanced ways to authorize transactions, with the pi-network:native mainnet move targeted for September 15.
