U.S.-IRAN CEASEFIRE REPORTEDLY NEARS

The U.S. and Iran have reportedly reached a ceasefire agreement, with an announcement expected in the coming days, RIA Novosti reported, citing Pakistani and Iranian military sources.

The reported deal includes free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and renewed negotiations under the Islamabad Memorandum.

Neither Washington nor Tehran has confirmed the agreement, while Oman and Iran separately proposed a temporary mechanism to restore Strait traffic.

BREAKING: The US has proposed cancelling the new "Operation Economic Outcast," lifting all sanctions, and ending the US blockade in exchange for Iran opening the Strait of Hormuz and stopping all attacks by its proxies, per Al Arabiya citing a senior source on a new separate offer conveyed by Pakistan.

Iran's conditions, however, remain unchanged: $300 billion in US compensation, complete lifting of all US sanctions, release of all Iranian frozen assets ($100-123 billion), end of the US naval blockade, US troop withdrawal from the entire region, and a comprehensive regional ceasefire including in Lebanon and Gaza.

Here's what we know:

1. First decrease in "App Store" revenue in history in the US. (includes games)
2. Non-gaming (apps) is still up 14.6% YoY globally. Gaming down 4.5%.
3. Web share of revenue on RC rose 31% over the last year, from 20% of revenue to 26% of revenue. So app2web is happening

We're gonna keep digging, but I think we're seeing a combination of gaming's long running decline, some US specific trends in app2web, and possibly some spend consolidation. It's hard to tell. But I'd hesitate to cherry pick this one data point to fit the "end of apps" narrative. More at 11.

On August 25, 2026, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi visited Tehran for talks with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi. The two sides discussed future management arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz and issued a joint statement.

📜 Core Elements of the Statement

The two sides agreed to establish a "phased framework" to restore safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. This framework includes:

· Establishing a temporary joint shipping corridor
· Implementing a joint mine-clearing project

Technical negotiations will continue with the aim of reaching a final agreement on permanent shipping corridors, future management of the Strait, information-sharing mechanisms, traffic management, and the provision of relevant navigational and safety services.

Both sides also emphasized that they would hold joint discussions with regional nations bordering the Gulf waters and would adhere to international law while respecting the sovereign rights of littoral states.

At the very moment Iran and Oman announced this framework, U.S. President Trump declared on Truth Social that the U.S. Navy had "cleared or detonated all mines in the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz."

Iran's position is unequivocal: Iranian officials insist that the Strait will not fully reopen unless the U.S. meets Tehran's demands including lifting the maritime blockade, abandoning oil sanctions, and unfreezing overseas assets.

The fate of the Strait of Hormuz is being redefined by Iran and Oman, while the United States is being left out of the conversation.

@Andreasaakn $SKFG it is super thin and if no one has a bid in then you can whack it down .50. Just inexperienced traders that have no idea what they are doing.
Same with the upside as well to a degree.
You have to put in orders between the bid and the ask and slowly walk them up or down
