Introducing USE: Unreal Sound Editor 2.0! Been on a #JUCE cleanse(*🧵) and made a wee tool to let you scrub through and make small edits to a sound file directly in #UnrealEngine.
Sorry to all UI/UX designers on here..

@Joewilsonaudio I think Criterion are. Keep an eye on SoundLister and perhaps reach out to recruiters too who are usually in the know! Good luck, it's a turbulent time at the mo so don't be disheartened if it takes some time
@TylerStruck@ARAudio_ Aye, if you're freelance then chose the tool you prefer! However if you move into a company there's a good chance you'll have to use Reaper :)
@projrev404 Both have their uses! If you want be get a job in gameplay you'll definitely need both! There are other disciplines though that don't require as much C++, such as Technical Designers, however learning C++ is 100% useful and will only take you further
@RKSoundDesign I don't know of many but you could try @nDreams academy, or try reaching out to recruiters at games companies.
They can be hard to find and very competitive though so if don't manage to find one, the best thing you can do is keep working on and building up your portfolio!
@GHarrisonSounds I love mine - I'm way more productive standing. Also very useful if you're recovering from injuries & need to switch up your muscle groups regularly..
