I know this will upset some people, but Ndindi Nyoro deserves his flowers.
I disagreed with him on the Finance Bill 2024, and I still do.
But when it comes to fuel prices, show me another MP who has fought this hard.
This week, he was in committee after committee proposing ways to lower fuel costs. At the same time, many MPs who claim to speak for wananchi, including Junet and Ichung'wah, frustrated those efforts, while others opposed the proposals, stayed silent, or simply mocked them.
That's the truth.
Love him or hate him, at least he's trying.
Which MP has done more on fuel prices than Ndindi Nyoro and George Wandeto? Name them.
You don't have to agree with a politician on everything to acknowledge when they're fighting for ordinary Kenyans.
If Parliament were truly serious about lowering fuel prices, Kenyans would likely be paying less today. Instead, Parliament has increasingly lost its independence, and voices pushing alternative solutions are often dismissed or mocked.
History will remember who pushed for relief and who stood in the way.
