WATCH: The Holler's @Kanew (who is Jewish) responds to @jaketapper accusing us of antisemitism because we called him out for refusing to have @hasanthehun on CNN to speak for himself, for obvious reasons.
Again: Criticizing Israel is not antisemitic. (Just ask @voiceofrabbis)
🇵🇸 Israeli forces have abducted Dr. Nizar Kayed, the 70-year-old deputy mayor of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to journalist Jasper Nathaniel, who identified Kayed as a friend.
Kayed has spoken out against Israel’s planned land seizures around the town’s archaeological site, warning that Palestinians were being stripped of water resources, roads, and antiquities. “It is part of settlement expansion,” he told Reuters in June.
🚨"They're sent back to be kidnapped or slaughtered!"
Lucky Philistine, a member of the Haitian American community in Ohio, spoke up at the vigil for 20-year-old student Pierre Damas Bel, who recently took his own life after being forced to wear an ankle monitor by ICE agents. Since June 2026, more and more Haitians in the U.S. are being abducted and required to wear ankle monitors after the Trump administration abruptly ended their Temporary Protected Status, a move deemed unlawful by the ACLU and many human rights group.

Springfield, Ohio -- Seven Haitians reported for ICE check-ins last Thursday. One was a woman who had given birth twenty days earlier and lost the baby. “She came to the office. She could not even walk,” he said. “But they put the shackle on her.”

This is not true. This is a lie. He hasn’t done that. He has argued that rape by Hamas on October 7th wouldn’t justify, or change the dynamic of his opposition to, Israel’s subsequent attack on Gaza.
Does CNN not have a standards department anymore?
Political streamer Hasan Piker notes that more establishment Democrats have condemned him over comments he did not make than have demanded the release of Sama Safi, a 20-year-old American imprisoned by Israel without charge in the occupied West Bank since June. Her doctors warn that Israel’s denial of adequate medical care puts her at risk of irreversible, life-threatening damage to her internal organs.
As journalist Prem Thakker points out, Chris Van Hollen is the only potential 2028 presidential contender in the Senate who has called on the Trump administration to secure Safi’s release.
Van Hollen is also introducing a resolution requiring the State Department to provide answers about nine Americans killed in the West Bank since 2022 with zero accountability, as well as the broader abuses Palestinians face under Israeli occupation. He says he will bring it to a vote when Congress returns.
Is this what you wanted, @StephenM?
A mother who was 5 months pregnant - who'd just found out she and her American citizen fiancee were having a boy - lost her baby after federal agents in a detention center repeatedly denied her pleas for prenatal care.
Lived and worked in Tennessee for years. Detained by ICE for over a month. Forced to sleep on a prison cell floor. Served food with cockroaches. Said she was starving and having stomach pains. Guards told her it was normal. Begged to be deported so at least she could get prenatal care in Guatemala. ICE refused.
She delivered her stillborn baby in front of two guards who shackled her feet. Then, for two days, she wasn't allowed to call her fiancee or talk to anyone. She cried alone, and was deported to Guatemala shortly after the stillbirth.
DHS has only said they'd review the case. "Worst of the worst", right @TriciaOhio?
To the protestors risking their lives for democracy in Hong Kong, I want you to know: We are with you. We believe in you. And no matter who our president is, America will always be on the side of freedom.
