@joepokes97@bportnoy15@SBJ They absolutely do not - ha. European basketball, soccer, etc. have put corporate logos all over their courts and jerseys, long before US sports
@0xAktiv@ChrisMcCulleyTV So many teams do not even make money after bowl game expenses. But they do it because it's been the right thing to do for the student athletes and gives exposure to your university. And, again, it's fun. Because football is a sport, and it's supposed to be fun.
@0xAktiv@ChrisMcCulleyTV The "nothing matters except a national championship" crowd is so boring. Its almost like some want to kill the unique ecosystem of college football. It's fun, dude. And it means something to the thousands of kids that will never sniff the pros or are fringe. It's exposure, not $
@dougbarrett619 @Tylerowl2020 @ChrisMcCulleyTV Oh, facts? Do you think that all bowl games result in revenue after expenses or something? Because boy is there news for you
@JoshGrahamShow@WSJSRadio Saddened. But congratulations on a heck of a run at WSJS. Legend. The 'Take' God, among my friends. A bonafide sports radio star that we could call our own in Winston-Salem.
@JaceyZembal@hornets@theobserver We luckily walked in that side entrance 35 minutes before tip and before there was a line there, skipping over hundreds of people lined up on the main landing (sorry). Got in seat 2 minutes before tipoff.
Truly bizarre for a post-acc @gsocomplex in a potential priority event
@PackChat1887@IShowRingsss It took their entire team to tackle him lol... I guess I understand the hype from a "we never gave up"/"together we are stronger than 1" perspective
