This small mosque in N. Kudafari draws its architectural inspiration from the historic Malé Friday Mosque, one of the Maldives' most celebrated heritage landmarks. Built as a memorial to the late Mohammed Qasim of Kaminige, the mosque combines traditional Maldivian craftsmanship with a design that seeks to preserve the architectural legacy of the country's most iconic place of worship.�

The mosque was commissioned and constructed by his son, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, a businessman, chairman, and managing director of the Sun Siyam Group. The mosque was designed to reflect the distinctive character of the centuries-old Friday Mosque. According to an inscription displayed at the site, the structure incorporates traditional elements of stone carving, wood carving, and Islamic calligraphy, arts that have long been central to Maldivian mosque architecture.
