Why do we lack clear, consultative processes for this kind of development in KL? Are lands in the city just for corporate & capitalist expansions?

Fair enough that it is unsafe but when you see (many) people walking there it means there is a need for pedestrian access. So how about building that? I can't believe this even needs to be said.
Did we not know that we drive to everything else beside office - grocery, restaurants, schools, parks etc etc. Because we have not built a walkable city, we will continue seeing high traffic.
The Causeway should be pedestrianised. A 20 minute walk is a great alternative for commuters.
