Holding $ASTS at 100% portfolio concentration isn’t for everyone.
Self-proclaimed “expert consultants” and anonymous accounts will tell you daily that you’re delusional. Down 13% overnight because revenue “missed.”
But missed what, exactly?
A company that didn’t exist 10 years ago is now delivering 98.9 Mbps from space to unmodified smartphones. BB8-10 ship next month. 10+ satellites per month in production. $3.5B cash. 60 MNO partners. 3 billion subscribers covered.
You can’t model a market that doesn’t exist yet. They said the same about $NVDA at $10.
The pain is real. The conviction has to be deeper.
Because in 2030, the narrative won’t be “ASTS missed Q1 2026 revenue estimates.”
It’ll be “if you put $30k in during the 2026 lows, you’d have $1M today.”
I plan to be in that story.
Not because I’m mental. Because I did the work with the #SpaceMob 🛰️
Reached my target of $ASTS shares today.
Took 14 months of accumulating from nearly zero.
I’m betting my future net worth on direct-to-device satellite broadband reaching 3 billion people who have smartphones but no reliable connectivity.
If I’m right: life changes.
If I’m wrong: I learned everything.
The work is done. Now we wait. 🛰️
I’m not planning to sell anything before $1,000, and even at that level I’d only consider a modest trim. My base case is that the market is still significantly underestimating the long-term value here. A $2,500–$5,000 terminal valuation (split-adjusted) doesn’t look unreasonable if execution continues as expected.
The main reason is that this is infrastructure, not a simple application-layer play. Historically, infrastructure winners tend to unlock entirely new use cases and revenue streams that are difficult to model in advance. As a result, even the most bullish projections today may not fully capture the eventual opportunity set.
For that reason, I’d rather risk trimming slightly too late than cap the upside too early.
@Fruitloops1984 Congrats on all those who did so. I have no worries buying 65 times higher today after all the derisking and the understanding I built over time.
@JR_spacetime@laorlet Yes! Especially when you couldn’t reach your target with the monthly DCA before a good payday, after the price dropped by 20% overnight.
@blissplz My share count is far less important than the average I see in the SpaceMob echochamber, just enough relative to where I started and where I want to go in life.
